Learn about the license types available with ActCAD 2021

In previous years, ActCAD granted both annual licenses and perpetual licenses for the software.

Currently, all commercially available ActCAD 2021 licenses are perpetual licenses .

This means that all purchased licenses are valid indefinitely.

Our customers receive as part of their purchase One year of free technical support and free product updates . After this period, the customer may voluntarily purchase an upgrade to a new version of the product or continue to use the product in the purchased version. The update depends only on the will of the customer.

We offer our customers updates at very favorable prices.

How much does it cost to update CAD software?

The cost of upgrading to a new version of the product is from 380 PLN to 500 PLN incl. VAT .

Licenses for our CAD software are available in ESD (electronic) and ESD dongle versions and can be transferred between computers.

There is no limit on the transfer of licenses from computer to computer .

To activate or deactivate purchased CAD software licenses, you need to connect your computer to the World Wide Web.  ActCAD licences with a USB dongle do not require activation.

ActCAD LLC USA offers its customers the possibility to install older versions of CAD software from the same product development line, e.g. ActCAD 2020 Pro instead of ActCAD 2021 Pro.

This option is aimed at users who have an old hardware configuration or need a product with lower hardware requirements. In the future, it is possible to return to the purchased version of ActCAD at any time.

ActCAD 2021 - is available for Microsoft Windows systems in the 64-bit version.

System users 32-bit versions Systems Microsoft Windows can use the option to install an older version of ActCAD 2020 according to the purchased license, e.g. by installing ActCAD 2020 Standard instead of the purchased ActCAD 2021 Standard . In this option, it is possible to install the purchased version of the product in the future after upgrading the computer or system to the 64-bit version.
