Release of the new IntelliCAD 12.0
Revolutionizing the world of CAD design
The IntelliCAD Technology Consortium (ITC) today announced the release of IntelliCAD 12.0 , ushering in a new era of advanced CAD design, which is a competitor to the popular AutoCAD program.
IntelliCAD 12.0 is a low-quality engine that brings with it performance improvements and many new features, enabling you to improve the design performance of both 2D CAD and 3D CAD. The IntelliCAD engine has been equipped with new functions, thanks to which we can now create reports and report templates, easily extract data to tables and .xls files. We can also Intuitively create super fills using images, textures, blocks, external references, and masking. Dynamically display and customize the Quick Properties window to modify frequently used properties. Draw B-splines using control vertices and node parameterization. Leverage the new Snap Geometric Center. Create and edit tile menus for images. If you are working with tables, you can now export them to .csv files, create and update them based on data extracted from drawings, remove table cell formatting and specify table cell border properties.
For users using IntelliCAD Explorer, the new IntelliCAD 12 engine provides new options to manage visual style properties, layout settings, and whether to automatically freeze layers in created layouts. We can also freely change the order of columns, their visibility and restore the default display settings for all elements in the Program Explorer. Reminded that, IntelliCAD Explorer is a powerful tool that allows you to manage many aspects of editing from one place.
In addition, in the new version of the IntelliCAD 12 engine, there are new commands such as Project Geometry, Show CV and Hide CV, Layer Isolate VP Freeze, Global Edit Attributes, Rename Block, Change Block, Set Z All, Quick Trim and Copy Multiple.
Other enhancements introduced by IntelliCAD 12 include importing page setups from other drawings, selecting PDF presets when publishing or exporting to .pdf files, importing and exporting Facet Modeler Binary (.fmb) files, controlling display settings for section planes, determining whether objects on layers can be intersected by section planes, and previewing modifications using the Offset, Trim, and Extend commands and editing fills.
For IntelliCAD applications that support .dgn files in their original format, you can choose new options for converting between .dgn formats, use Explorer to work with layers, linetypes, dimension styles, blocks, and layouts, and open DGN overlays from .dwg files. As we can see, IntelliCAD 12.0 is also ideal for users working with Bentley files, allowing you to seamlessly transform and manage data between .dgn and .dwg formats.
For technical users, IntelliCAD 12.0 includes an updated .NET API and uses the latest version of the ODA SDK 2023.12 libraries, allowing for even more advanced CAD projects.
ITC Consortium President David Lorenzo said, "IntelliCAD 12.0 is a product that fully meets the needs of both 2D and 3D CAD designers. Our CAD and BIM technologies continue to develop alongside our members, providing advanced tools for advanced design."
IntelliCAD 12.0 is supported on Microsoft® Windows® 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, and Windows 7 64-bit versions. Mobile versions of IntelliCAD Viewer are also available for Windows desktop, Google® Android™, Apple® macOS®, and iOS.
Those interested in the new IntelliCAD product can download the new version of ActCAD 2024 soon. The first 2D, 3D CAD and BIM software to introduce the new IntelliCAD 12 engine later in 2023.
