ActCAD Live License Technology

The CAD web license technology in the ACCAD LIVE cloud allows you to use the ActCAD software from anywhere in the world via the Internet. The customer can assign up to five computers to one ActCAD LIVE license, which allows the program to be used independently on different devices. Since the license server is located in the cloud, the launch of ActCAD on one computer depends only on the license granted by the server.

The ActCAD LIVE license is automatically transferred via the Internet between the cloud server and the user's computer. To use the purchased license, all you need is Internet access while using the CAD software.

Setting up an ActCAD LIVE license is simple and consists of a few steps. In the first step, create a text file named "livelic.txt" in the ActCAD installation directory in the bin folder and paste the purchased license key without spaces into it. Then, after authorizing five computers, ActCAD can be run from any location in the world. When you close the ActCAD program you are using, the license is returned to the license server in the cloud and is ready to be used by another authorized computer.

If the LIVE license is in use on one of the five assigned computers and there is no free license, an error message will be displayed when you try to run it on another computer. You can change the IDs of the assigned computers yourself as many times as you want to avoid unauthorized use of the license key or to share the license temporarily with colleagues, family or friends.

Configure ActCAD LIVE licenses in just a few steps

1. In the first step, create a plain text file named "livelic.txt" in the ActCAD installation directory in the bin folder. Then open it in any text editor, such as notepad or notepad++

2. Now Paste no spaces purchased license key for the created text file "livelic.txt" .

Then save the file and close it. Go to the shortcut of the ActCAD icon on the desktop.

3. Start the ActCAD software. For first use on a computer, the message "This The computer is not authorized, please contact your administrator." Now you can add up to five computers (unique computer IDs) in the ActCAD client login.

4. After authorizing the computer, restart ActCAD from any location in the world. If authorization is verified correctly , ActCAD is started. Now you can work with your CAD software.

5. When the user of ActCAD closes the ActCAD program used on their computer, the license will be returned to our cloud license server.

6. The license can be used by another authorized computer (indicated in the livelic.txt) file from any location in the world.

7. If a LIVE license is in use and there is no free license, it will display error message occurs. You can contact your co-worker in order to release the licence or calmly wait for the making it available.

You can change the IDs of the assigned computers yourself as many times as you want without having to contact ActCAD support .
