IntelliCAD LISP vs. AutoCAD LISP
IntelliCAD LISP - ADS LISP support in ActCAD
ActCAD
2020 IntelliCAD® Expands Your Investment in Custom Applications
with support for the LISP programming language.
You can run applications
LISP commands, which reference any of the hundreds of commands
® AutoCAD software with little or no code modifications
Them.
Moreover, IntelliCAD® reads DCL files that contain
Dialog control language statements.
In addition, you can run
many ADS programs originally written for use with AutoCAD
after they have been recompiled using runtime libraries
IntelliCAD.
Many third-party programs created on AutoCAD are
compatible with IntelliCAD software such as ActCAD.
Autodesk Development System (ADS) and AutoCAD LISP support
To run your own Autodesk® Development System (ADS) applications in IntelliCAD®, just recompile them using the API libraries, which can be found in the download section of this website. This everything you need. Independent developers can re-establish their compile your ADS and C++ applications to work with ActCAD as well. IntelliCAD® supports ADS very well.
In IntelliCAD can run many programs originally created for use with AutoCAD. In particular, you can use programs written entirely in AutoLISP without any or more minor modifications.
IntelliCAD offers a LISP programming interface that is very
similar to AutoCAD's AutoLISP. If you create LISP commands in
IntelliCAD, you can run them in AutoCAD.
The LISP interpreter is an internal API and can even be used as a
connect with the above-mentioned macro recording language.
IntelliCAD
also includes the Solutions Development System (SDS), which is
interface in C/C ++ language comparable to ADS® (AutoCAD® Development
System). SDS is more similar to C compared to C++,
because there is no way to create custom objects, but it can
support the creation of complex solutions. IntelliCAD is compatible with
ADS programs, and several ITC members have successfully imported millions of
lines of ADS code to IntelliCAD.
